There is a long list of things to buy when planning a wedding and reception. After you know where and when your wedding will be, you need to get out your invitations right away. You can pick from a lot of styles of invitations. There is invitations that are perfect for beach weddings, other themed ceremonies or the traditional romantic invitation. I chose the beach themed invitations.
I bought everything from invitations to wedding favors with an ocean side theme in mind. There were a lot of beach themed wedding decorations to choose from too. I bought quite a few of the lovely gel candles for our reception tables. There was also lovely little seashells that could be used as place card holders that I thought were adorable.
There were awesome beach wedding favors to pick from too. I narrowed it down to the picture frames or the lovely beach theme tea lights. Since I could only choose one, it just had to be the tea lights. They were just too beautiful to pass up. I liked them so much, I bought two of them for my house. Not only is there a lot of choices for reception décor, but there is quite a few suggestions for weddings decorations also. Particularly the ring pillows and flower girl baskets I found for a beach wedding. I even got my veil and tiara from there. In fact, I bought most of our accessories and reception supplies there. Not only is the selection fantastic, but the prices were pretty reasonable too. It’s nice to have a place to shop for wedding accessories that won’t strain your budget.
What’s really great is there are so many different themed oriented accessories to choose from. The seasonal themed accessories were really the best. I would have chosen the winter wonderland accessories if we were having our ceremony in the winter months. The winter wonderland accessories were so gorgeous. But since we were getting married in July, I went with my favorite summer theme, the beach. I gotta tell you, it was pretty spectacular. Everyone had a super time and complimented me on the reception and wedding accessories. I got a lot of comments about our wedding cake topper Our bride and groom on the beach cake topper was really cute.
They thought our champagne glasses were quite special too. There were so many nice accessories on our tables, from our cake serving set to the centerpieces. The favor boxes I chose were especially made for a seashore reception table. I can’t believe shopping online got me all of these fantastic accessories and supplies. And the prices were so affordable. I was really surprised that I found all the items I did while browsing the internet and how easy and convenient it was. I wish I would have known about this when I was planning my friends baby shower, they had all kinds of accessories and decorations for that too.
I also bought myself a couple of wedding albums for all of our photos. I found two gorgeous photo albums with scrapbooking and a special place for my keepsakes inside. They have everything you can think of for your wedding and your reception.
A lot of our guests complimented me on our reception decorations and our wedding table decoration. Everyone seemed to have a great time and did lots of dancing. It was a little hard to leave such a great time with our friends and family. But the honeymoon awaited. Going to a place I’ve never been before only added to the excitement of our honeymoon. This is the beginning to a whole new life.
